Truck & Trailer Tire Repair in Austin, TX
Flats, worn-out steers, and trailer tires that gave up on the shoulder — repaired or replaced in bays built for full-size trucks.
Tire work for trucks and the trailers behind them
A tire is the one part of a truck that is always in contact with the road and always carrying the whole load. We repair and replace tires on pickups, medium-duty box and service trucks, semis, and trailers — with the lifts and equipment to do it safely on a loaded commercial vehicle instead of on a shoulder with a jack.
What we handle
- Flat repair — proper inside patch-plug repairs on repairable tread damage
- Tire replacement — light-, medium-, and heavy-duty truck and trailer tires
- Mounting and balancing — including heavy truck and trailer assemblies
- Valve stems, TPMS, and leaks — the slow leak that keeps coming back
- Wheel and rim inspection — bent, cracked, and corroded wheels that will not seal
- Dual and drive tire matching — mismatched duals scrub tread off both
When a tire needs replacing, not repairing
- Damage in or near the sidewall
- The tire was run flat or badly underinflated
- Exposed belts, cords, or visible separation
- Tread below the legal limit — a DOT inspection item on commercial vehicles
- Repeat punctures in the same area, or a previous improper repair
On a commercial truck, tire condition is part of the annual DOT/FMCSA inspection. If you are due for one, we can look at the tires and do the inspection in the same visit instead of two trips.
Wearing tires out too fast?
Uneven or rapid wear is a symptom, not the problem. Feathered, cupped, or one-sided wear points at alignment, and steer tire wear on a heavy truck often means front-end components — kingpins, tie rod ends, or worn bushings. We measure before we sell you tires, because new rubber on a bad front end wears out just as fast.

Common questions
Do you repair trailer tires as well as truck tires?
Yes. Trailer tires are most of the flat-repair work we see — they carry the load, they sit for long stretches, and they are the ones that strand a loaded trailer. We handle truck and trailer tires together, so you are not running one unit to two shops.
Can a truck tire be repaired, or does it need replacing?
It depends on where the damage is. A clean puncture in the tread area can usually be repaired properly from the inside. Sidewall damage, a run-flat, exposed belts, or separation cannot be safely repaired — and on a commercial vehicle that is also a DOT inspection item. We show you the tire and tell you straight which one you are looking at.
My steer tires are wearing out fast. Is that a tire problem?
Usually not the tires themselves. Rapid or uneven steer tire wear almost always points to alignment or front-end wear — kingpins, tie rod ends, or a bent component. Replacing the tires without fixing the cause just buys you another set. We can measure the alignment while the truck is here.
Do you do mounting and balancing for heavy truck tires?
Yes — mounting, balancing, and replacement for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty truck and trailer tires, in bays set up for full-size trucks rather than at the curb.
