Called them to fix our f550. My guys ran it to empty and we could not get it primed. I have a big project I need it for and called them first time. They took truck same day and had it fixed running beautifully in hours. Great communication. excellent service. I will use in all our trucks

I needed repairs done to the radiator on a 20year old motorhome. Most shops I had been calling eather wouldn’t work on a motorhome or wouldn’t work on chassis issues. The guys at Modern Diesel had no problems fixing my issues and working with me on my timeline for the repairs.

Starter on my F250 died on me without any warning. I called Modern Diesel and they said they could get started on it right away. Once I got it towed in they started working on it literally within 3 minutes, and a couple hours later it was finished, for a pretty good price too. I am so grateful. These guys are awesome!

After going to several diesel shops, i called this place. I explained the issue over the phone and he told me what he thought was wrong with it and guess what… He was right!!! Blew my mind. My issue is fixed. It wasnt what the other shops claimed it to be. So happy with this place. Chance is great, knowledgeable, and explains things in ways for nonmechanics to understand. Definitely recommend this place.

I have run up quite a bill with these guys, but i knew what was coming. There have been no surprises. They have stood behind there work. Today they sent a tech to my place of work to replace a serpentine belt that broke. It wasn’t free, but they are a business and the convenience of it was priceless. Modern diesel is a five star company all around! I would give them 10 stars if I could! From the very first moment I contacted the company, I was greeted by the owner, Kary. I had asked him if they could provide me with a pre-sale diesel truck inspection on a box truck I was interested in purchasing. He immediately had one of his mechanics sent out to perform the inspection. Not to mention, the truck was a good two hours away in San Antonio. I had received the inspection, inspection report and quote to repair the minor maintenance issues all within the same morning. But wait this more! Kary himself, helped me find this quality truck and he started the search process with me MONTHS ago. From the business owner to his mechanics to his office staff and ancillary staff; I couldn’t have asked for better service. They are honest, trustworthy and quality people all around. This is easily the best diesel mechanic shop in the greater Austin area. I look forward to signing up for their fleet services and continuing to do business with them. I was having voltage issues and needed the alternator checked. They pulled the truck in within 20 minutes, checked and diagnosed the issue within another 10, and were able to get the truck back up and running on the same day. I use my truck daily for work, so downtime isn’t something that sits well with me. Everyone was helpful and responsive. Will definitely return if and when the truck needs anything done.
