B&W makes the hitches people keep through several trucks. If you tow for a living, or you tow something you cannot afford to lose, the hitch is not the place to economise — and neither is the install.
What being a dealer means here
We sell the line as well as fit it, we order through B&W rather than through a third party, and a warranty question comes to the people who did the installation instead of to a retailer who never saw the truck.

Hitch work is frame work
An under-bed gooseneck is not an accessory installation. It is structural work on the frame, rated for what the truck can actually pull, and it is the single component standing between your truck and everything behind it. Done properly it disappears when the ball comes out and it holds for the life of the vehicle.
That is most of the argument for buying the hitch from a shop that works on the truck. We know what is under the bed before we start cutting, and we are the ones who see it again at its next service.
We also fix what you are towing
The part an accessory shop cannot offer. We service trailers — bearings, brakes, axles, lights, and structure — so the hitch and the trailer get sorted in one visit rather than two. A commercial trailer also needs its own annual inspection separate from the truck, and trailers are the units most often forgotten; on a fleet account we run those on a compliance calendar.
Know what the truck can actually pull
Not the advertised maximum for the model — that number belongs to one specific configuration. The ones that apply to your truck are on the certification label and in the manufacturer's towing guide for your exact build. We wrote that out in how to read a tow rating, and it is worth ten minutes before buying either a trailer or a hitch.

Can you install a gooseneck hitch in my truck bed?
Yes. Under-bed gooseneck installation is frame work — done properly it is invisible with the ball removed and rated for what the truck can actually pull. Bring us the truck and tell us what you are towing.
Gooseneck or fifth wheel?
It depends on the trailer, not on preference. Goosenecks are common on equipment, livestock, and flatbed trailers; fifth wheels on RVs. Some setups let you run a fifth-wheel hitch off the gooseneck ball, which keeps the bed clear when you are not towing. Tell us what is behind the truck and we will tell you which one you need.
