Cookie Policy

The cookies this website uses and how to control them. Last updated July 24, 2026.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; “similar technologies” include browser local storage. This policy lists what Modern Diesel uses, why, and for how long. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

How your choices work

Strictly necessary storage is always on because the site can’t work without it. Analytics and marketing cookies are on by default for U.S. visitors, and you can opt out at any time: open “Cookie preferences” (the link in the footer of every page) to reject the non-essential categories or turn each on or off individually. Your choice is saved and applied through Google Consent Mode v2, and we automatically honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a marketing opt-out — no click required.

Strictly necessary

Always active. These keep the site working and are never used for tracking.

Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to CAPTCHA that tells humans from bots without puzzles. It loads only when you interact with the form and may set a strictly necessary token to remember that you passed the check. Turnstile is a security service — it is always on when the form is present, is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and so is not part of the analytics or marketing opt-out. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Cookie names ending in <ID> include your account’s Google identifier (for example _ga_ABC123). The exact cookies present depend on which tags fire, and providers may update their cookies over time. Two features load only when you interact with them — our embedded Google Map and the Cal.com booking window — and each may set its own provider cookies once you open it.

Managing your cookies

  • On this site: open “Cookie preferences” — the link in the footer of every page or the button above — to reject or re-allow analytics and marketing.
  • In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings.
  • Google Analytics: install the opt-out browser add-on.
  • Google ads: manage personalization at My Ad Center.
  • Industry tools: optout.aboutads.info (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).

Blocking necessary storage may stop parts of the site from working. Blocking analytics or marketing cookies will not affect the repair services we provide.
