Common questions
Why do our 183-route trucks keep having DPF problems?
Duty cycle. Short, low-speed delivery runs never build the exhaust heat needed to finish a regeneration, so soot loads until the truck derates. It is the most common complaint from fleets on this corridor and it is fixable — proper cleaning, a check for an upstream cause, and a maintenance interval built around how the trucks actually run.
