We are deliberately not on I-35. From the interstate, cut east on US-290, SH-71, or SH-45 SE to FM 973 — a few minutes of surface road instead of a crawl through the middle of Austin.

I-35 is the spine of Texas freight and the most congested road in the state. It is also, for a truck that needs work, the worst place to be — a shop on the interstate means sitting in the same traffic that already cost you the morning. Our location east of it is the practical answer: close enough to reach quickly, far enough to avoid the jam.

How do I reach you from I-35 without crossing town?

Take US-290 East, SH-71 East, or SH-45 SE across to FM 973 depending on where you are. All three avoid the central stretch, which is the part that costs you an hour.

Does I-35 traffic actually damage trucks?

It genuinely accelerates wear. Sustained idling and stop-and-go running load emissions systems, cook cooling systems in summer, and eat brakes and clutches far faster than highway miles. If your route is mostly 35, your maintenance interval should reflect that rather than the book number.
