Truck Down? Emergency Diesel Repair in Austin, TX
A parked truck doesn't earn. When yours quits, the thing that matters is how fast it gets into a real bay — call us and we'll tell you straight.
What to do first
Call 512-717-2777 and tell us what the truck is doing — the symptoms, any codes or dash lights, whether it is drivable, and where it sits. We will tell you whether we can take it today or when the next bay opens, and what to tell the tow driver. You will get a real answer on timing, not a maybe that costs you another day.
We're a repair shop, not a roadside service. We don't run tow trucks and we don't do roadside rescue, and we're open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM. What we do is get a down truck into a bay fast, with the lifts, diagnostics, and parts to actually finish the job — which is more than a service van in a parking lot can promise.
Breakdowns we see most
- No-start and hard-start — fuel delivery, injectors, batteries, and charging faults
- Emissions derates — DPF loading, DEF quality and dosing, and SCR faults that cut power mid-haul
- Overheating — water pumps, thermostats, radiators, and cooling system failures
- Loss of power or boost — turbos, charge-air leaks, and sticking VGT vanes
- Air and brake problems — leaks, slow build, and dragging brakes
- Blowouts and tire failure — truck and trailer tire work
- Transmission and driveline — no shift, slipping, or a driveline vibration
Why a shop beats a van on a big job
Mobile repair is fine for a battery or a sensor. When it is an injector job, a turbo, a cooling-system failure, or anything that needs the truck in the air, a staffed shop with lifts, alignment equipment, and parts on the shelf turns it far faster than one tech working out of a van on the shoulder. For fleet accounts we can even collect the truck — CDL-licensed concierge pickup and delivery — so you don't spend a driver getting it here.
Fleets: get to the front of the line
Down vehicles on a fleet account get priority scheduling, and you can track the repair through the FleetGood portal instead of calling for a status. If you run trucks and you'd rather keep your own fleet manager, we also back up in-house teams — fleet maintenance support.

Common questions
Do you offer 24/7 roadside service for diesel trucks?
No — we are a repair shop, not a roadside service. We do not run tow trucks and we do not do roadside rescue. What we do is get a down truck into a bay quickly during shop hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. If your truck is on the shoulder, arrange a tow to us and call ahead so we know it is coming.
My truck is down right now. What should I do?
Call the shop at 512-717-2777 and tell us what it is doing — the symptoms, any codes or warning lights, and where the truck is. We will tell you honestly whether we can get it in today or when the next opening is, and what to have the tow driver do when they arrive. A straight answer on timing beats a promise we cannot keep.
Can you get a down truck in faster than a dealer?
Usually, yes — that is most of why fleets call us. We are an independent shop with our own bays, diagnostics, and parts on the shelf, so a down truck is not waiting behind a dealer service queue. Fleet account customers get priority scheduling, which moves a down vehicle to the front of the line.
Do you do on-site repairs at our yard?
For business customers under a fleet agreement, yes — we perform diagnostics and repairs on-site at your yard or facility across the Greater Austin Area, by appointment. That is scheduled fleet service, not emergency roadside response.
Ready when you are.
