FASS Fuel Systems Dealer in Austin, TX
Lift pumps and fuel-air separation systems, supplied and installed by the shop that diagnoses the fuel system they feed.
A diesel injection system is only as healthy as the fuel reaching it. FASS builds lift pumps with filtration and air separation in one unit — a steady supply, with water, debris, and entrained air taken out before the fuel gets to the high-pressure side. We sell the line and fit it to trucks we already service.
What being a dealer means here
We sell the line as well as fit it, and a warranty question comes to the people who did the installation instead of to a retailer who never saw the truck.
What we fit
- Lift pumps with fuel-air separation — Frame-mounted pump and filtration units for diesel pickups.
- Drop-in (in-tank) pumps — In-tank units where the platform has one, for a factory-style installation.
- Medium-duty and Class 8 systems — Units sized for semi tractors, vocational trucks, and working diesel equipment.
- Filters and water separators — Replacement elements, changed on the interval the truck actually needs.
- Tank pickup, lines, and fittings — The supply-side hardware, routed and secured so it survives a working truck.
Platforms
- Ram 2500 and 3500 (Cummins)
- Ford Super Duty (Power Stroke)
- Chevrolet and GMC HD (Duramax)
- Medium-duty and Class 8 diesels
Diagnose first, then decide
A lift pump is the answer to some fuel-supply faults and irrelevant to others. Hard starts, low power under load, and rail-pressure codes can come from the supply side, the high-pressure side, a sensor, or wiring — and replacing parts on a guess is the most expensive habit in diesel ownership. We test the system before recommending anything, and if a new supply pump will not change the outcome we will say so.
Installed like it has to last
The installation is most of the job: where the unit mounts, how the lines are routed and secured, how it is powered and fused, and how the tank pickup is handled. We do fuel-system work every day, so it is fitted by the same people who will see the truck at its next service.
Filters are part of owning one
The filter and water separator do the work, so they have a service life. We supply the replacement elements and change them on the interval the truck actually needs — see maintenance schedules — and on a fleet account they go on the PM calendar with everything else.
Fitting them across a fleet
Two or more vehicles is a fleet. If your trucks already come to us for scheduled maintenance, the work can be done while they are here rather than taking each one off the road a second time. Fleet sales: 512-273-7351.
Tell us about the truck
Year, engine, how it is worked, and what it is doing. That decides whether this is the right part faster than a model number does. Call 512-717-2777.

Common questions
Are you a FASS dealer, or do you just install them?
We are a FASS dealer. We sell the line as well as fit it, and a warranty question goes to the people who did the installation rather than to a retailer who never saw the truck.
What does a lift pump with air separation actually do?
It moves fuel from the tank to the engine at a steady supply pressure and filters it on the way, taking out water, debris, and entrained air before the fuel reaches the high-pressure pump and injectors. Whether your truck needs one depends on the platform and how it is worked — tell us what it does and we will tell you honestly.
Will it fix my hard start or my low-power problem?
Not by itself, and we would not sell it to you as a cure. Hard starts, low power under load, and rail-pressure codes can come from the supply side, the high-pressure side, a sensor, or wiring. A lift pump is the answer to some of those and irrelevant to the others, so we test first and recommend second.
Does a FASS system change my emissions equipment?
No. It sits on the fuel supply side, ahead of the injection system. It does not touch the DPF, the DEF and SCR system, the EGR, or the engine calibration.
