Common questions
Do you work on DD15 engines?
Yes — DD13, DD15, and DD16 diagnostics and repair, including aftertreatment, EGR, turbo, and fuel-system work. These engines report a lot of data, and the code that sets is often a symptom of something upstream, so we test before condemning expensive parts.
Can you still service an older Series 60?
Yes. Plenty of Series 60 trucks are still working, and they are straightforward engines to keep running when parts are available. We will give you an honest read on whether a given repair is worth it on a truck of that age.
Is Detroit the same as Freightliner?
They share a parent company, and most Freightliner Cascadias are Detroit-powered, but they are different things — Freightliner builds the truck, Detroit builds the engine. We service both; see our Freightliner page for chassis, electrical, and air-system work.
